KATE Fisher

Kate obtained a first class degree from Manchester University in History of Art and an MA in Contemporary Art from the Courtauld Institute before going onto various roles in the London art world. After working in the archives dept of White Cube, she went on to spend six years working for Frieze Art Fair. A stint as a History of Art teacher at St Paul’s Girls’ school in London gave her the teaching bug and she completed a PGCE at the Institute of Education. She has been teaching Art History A Level within secondary schools for just over five years, has examined AQA’s HART 4 paper, acted as secretary for the AAH schools’ committee and is currently exploring opportunities to expand the reach of Art History within Oxford.
