Dr Sarah V Turner

Sarah V Turner is the Deputy Director for Research at the Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British. She is an art historian and curator specialising in nineteenth and twentieth century art. She co-curated The Great Spectacle and co-edited the exhibition catalogue and digital publication The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 1769-2018: A Chronicle. Sarah was elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and named one of Apollo magazine's '40 under 40' inspirational people. She is co-editor of British Art Studies, holds degrees from Cambridge, Leeds, and the Courtauld Institute, and taught at York University.
